The Security Leaders Summit Atlanta was held on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at the InterContinental Buckhead. The Summit brought together a community of senior IT executives for engaging peer-level interaction, discussions on new approaches to managing complexities in Information Security, and provided opportunities to collaborate with leaders in the industry. Throughout the day, the Summit Hosts, representing companies across a diversity of industries and sizes, shared their insights and knowledge with the distinguished group of attendees through their presentations, interviews and breakout roundtable discussions.

Jim Eckart, Chief Information Security Officer at The Coca-Cola Company, opened up the Atlanta Summit with the Morning Keynote on “The State of the Industry.” Jim’s keynote addressed the expanded role and breadth of responsibility of an information security leader, discussions being held with senior management and Boards, and what his information security organization is working on in terms of mobile, cloud, social, big data, and analytics in order to support the business for today and in the future.

In the morning session, “Insights & Interviews – Leadership Challenges,” facilitated by Summit Emcee, Richard Warner, Ken Foster, Chief Information Security Officer at Rollins, Inc. shared his insights into the challenges and the dynamics of change that are forcing him to rethink what success means to his organization and to his business.

In the interview session on “The CISO Tool Box – Business Technologies for the Future,” Mark Gelhardt, Director, Global PCI Security at Elavon and Wayne Proctor, SVP & CISO at FleetCor Technologies shared their perspectives on what they are doing to ensure they are positioned for success in the future by having the right technologies in place. This discussion focused on existing technologies that are viewed as being on the critical path to success and new technologies that have promise for the future.

Neil provided input on trends they are seeing and examples of how organizations are working towards solving their email challenges.
